Every 6-10 years, commercial aircraft have a ‘heavy maintenance visit’. This involves a complete check-up for the aircraft including removing livery to inspect the body of the plane. This process is expensive, laborious, and hard work. Elixair International built a business providing approved chemicals and scrapers for safely and efficiently removing all paint finishes.

Special Agent worked with Elixair to develop all aspects of the patented SkyMill Revolution, a portable, durable, sharpening machine that is worn by the maintenance crew and used to keep the scrapers sharp and efficient. The range of SkyMill products was later bought and distributed by 3M.
